As we progress from Phase 1 to create a custom basement addition in Princeton, TX, Phase 2 focused on one of the most critical steps: the excavation process. With precision and safety at the forefront, we continued transforming our client's vision into reality.
The excavation process began with a meticulous layout using advanced CAD files and a state-of-the-art total station. These tools ensured absolute accuracy, helping us map exactly where excavation was required for the basement. Once marked, the site was thoroughly reviewed and double-checked to eliminate potential errors.
With the groundwork mapped out, our team began excavating the space for the basement addition. Using efficient and high-performing equipment, we carefully removed soil to meet the project's specifications.
After completing the excavation, we took an extra step to ensure safety and avoid delays. We sprayed gunite concrete onto the dirt walls of the excavation. This stabilized the soil, reducing the risk of cave-ins, which could jeopardize safety and interfere with the project timeline.
With the excavation complete, we're ready to move to the next phase: the basement foundation. This phase will involve drilling and pouring piers, digging footings, pouring the basement slab, and setting up ICF (Insulated Concrete Form) basement walls.
Stay tuned as we progress to the foundation phase, showcasing our commitment to precision and craftsmanship in every step of this custom project. At EW Enterprise, we're redefining what's possible, one basement at a time.
