Industrial Project in Hillsboro, TX – Phase 1: Equipment Foundation Update

In our previous post, we shared how our team tackled the challenging foundation work for a multi-phase industrial project in Hillsboro, TX. Today, we’re excited to provide an update on the progress of this manufacturing plant with the completion of additional heavy-duty foundations tailored for critical equipment and material storage. These additions underscore the precision and durability required for a thriving manufacturing plant.

Highlights of the Latest Foundation Work:

• Silo Foundation A 20’ x 33’ foundation was built to support two 15’ x 40’ material silos. This section was constructed with 24 inches of concrete and reinforced using a #5 rebar mat spaced 12 inches on-center each way (OCEW) at both the top and bottom. This design ensures the silos remain secure under substantial weight and operating conditions.
• Equipment Foundation To house essential compressors, chillers, and miscellaneous equipment, we constructed a 20’ x 27’ foundation featuring a 5-inch concrete slab reinforced with a #4 rebar mat spaced 20 inches OCEW. This foundation provides reliable support for critical operational needs.
